Dear Member,

Please clarify-are you Sweety Gupta or Kumar Gaurav.

We honour your views.

You are placing research work on priority for

pharmacologists. We are not denying for that.

Our concern is how we can be useful to community with

our expertize and availability of time.

Some are more interested, some are less.

But nobody can escape from the responsibility.

Hi, Some time back, students took the subject pharmacology in PG because they wanted light work. But today, students of top ranks join here because the subject has expanded broadly-not just because of interested in clinical pharm, but also because pharmacologists can help the community with rational use of drugs. As Dr Smita has already mentioned, newer sub-branches are coming up in Pharmacology like PEconomics, Pvigilance...which can be of use to the community. Dear Anupama,

Yes,you are absolutely correct.

Horizons of pharmacology have widened.

Clinical and community touch have made the subject

more interesting.

Dear Kumar,

You should not feel sorry.

You have wished us 'HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY'.

It is our moral responsibility to shape out your ideas

and actions.

You have proposed very good idea of posting around 6

months during the MD course where students can perform

the role as community pharmacologist.

Invention is the mother of necessity.

You can get ideas for research also from the

community.

With best wishes,

Bharat Gajjar.
