Thank you for introducing yourself to the group. I was diagnosed as a 10 year old child - the news was pretty shocking and confusing even then! I didn't do much about the life changing part - I just grew up with it as part of my total package! About 5 years ago I took a chance and started because I wanted to learn more about CMT in an upbeat and positive manner. And I keep learning Remember, you don't have to tell anyone or everyone. Let your conscience and your heart be your guides; CMT is not a form of MD, it is not MS or other neurological disorders. It is unfortunate CMT has a long history and still not known to the general public. Many people are working on this though on several levels. I hope you enjoy the group and find strength here. ~ Gretchen
