Guest guest
Gretchen, My wife contacted the genetics dept which deals with the blood results and was told it can take up to 12 months for the results to be confirmed. Apparentley, there is only one lab in the UK (Manchester) which tests for CMT along with other genetic problems. It is really out of my GP's hands once I have been referred, plus not that many are familiar with CMT. I'll just have to grin and bear it and convince my boss I'm not lazy but just tired, even if they think I look ok, and all the nervous rashes I keep coming out with will go away once I find out. I hope you don't think I'm feeling sorry for myself , but once I know, I can restart my life and lead as active one as I can. Ian
