Guest guest
We must be careful to not blame EVERY malady we may encounter on our CMT. While it is true CMT causes different symptoms in individual people, keep in mind that one may have CMT in addition to any number of other ailments. If one has CMT and high blood glucose, tests must be done to check for diabetes, rather than to simply blame it on CMT. (just an example, I do not know of any cases of elevated blood sugar being related to CMT) If one with CMT falls down and breaks a bone, the broken bone is most likely from the fall, which was more likely due to CMT, but the broken bone is not caused by CMT. In addition, a broken bone may be more likely if this person with CMT has osteoporosis, but osteoporosis is not caused by the CMT. The osteoporosis would be another, separate condition for this person, in addition to CMT. Before you blame any undesirable qualities on CMT, talk with others(people with CMT or knowledgeable professionals) about it, and consider common sense. Just my 2 cents Joyce S
