Guest guest
my first problems with dry skin were in albuquerque, new mexico - very dry climate - i was in high school - this is where i first used vaseline at bedtime, on my legs. in florida i don't recall having as much of a problem. for years i have just used the cheapest lotions i could find and used them nightly after baths. dermatologist say that your need to moisturize every time water touches your skin - water takes moisture out - lotion, etc. puts it in. test show that expensive lotions an creams do no better than the cheapest. just remember - water on - moisture out - lotion on now that i am OLDER lotion is not enough and i have returned to the nightly ritual of vaseline on legs. also, for years i have put vaseline on eyes, lips, and areas that tend to wrinkle. i am almost 60 and still people have a difficult time believing i am this OLD - i credit vaseline and also an effort to stay on the fashion train and not give in to large floral prints and polyester!!! positive thinking helps too. when people ask how i stay so young i always tell them it is because i am single!
