During one show, when it seemed half the cast was ready to dessert and leave the show, one guy, Ted Lange, the one who played Issac on The Love Boat tv show, shouted out " It's NOT GOING TO BE EASY! My 2 pounds is not going to be easy! Your 6 pounds is not going to be easy! " That seemed to be a turning point for a number of the participants. I *know* it's not easy. I say here quite frequently that losing weight is a full time job, between the meal planning, food prep, journalling and exercise. But it's what must be done if we want to achieve safe and permanent weight loss. No pills, no surgery, no weight loss gimmicks. Just a low cal diet, plenty of exercise, and fierce determination.
