Guest guest
I have just read your article CMT Today and certainly have a lot of respect for you and your efforts to highlight CMT. At night I suffer from cold feet, but yet like yesterday I walked about 3 miles to follow my son who was on a float for the Boys Brigade in the local charity gala. This is a thing I have taken part in myself for many years as a kid, my feet just felt like they were burning up, I got back into the car and just fell asleep exhausted. I find the exhaustion really hard to accept, as I told you I have competed in half marathons and one full one. I also find it strange that I don't seem to have anything wrong with my feet. The genetic consultant I saw said I didn't have the classic symptom of CMT feet and it seemed to throw him off, as if to say I don't have CMT. I've been told I run like a chicken, but a lot of people run funny. One thing I do find unusual is that fact that when I close my eyes and put my hands to my side I fall over straight away and not always to the same side. Is this common for CMT do you think? Not that I make a habit of doing it mind you. Anyway it's Fathers day in the UK today so I'm going to enjoy the sun, listen to Carol King and look forward to going to the Calgary Stampede and the Rockies next month. Love Ian. --------------------------------- Plus - For a better Internet experience
