Guest guest
Fred, I apologize for not replying before this. While I have no AFO experience, I have had experience with valium for muscle spasms, only to end up with an addiction problem and a doctor who just said, " if 1 doesn't help, try 2 " - well it was more like 6 or 7. Anyway, I wanted to tell you about a new skeletal muscle relaxant I had experience with while awaiting a prognosis andd surgery on my back: that is Methocarbamol - also known as Robaxin. I don't know if it is available in your country or not. It worked very well, did not make me groggy or stoned or give me any side effects, nor did I get hooked. Here is a website on it http://www.methocarbamol.com/ I hope this helps somewhat. ~ Gretchen
Guest guest
Gretchen, Thanks for your message. I am aware of the addiction problem with valium which is why I am searching for an alternative. Unfortunately, Methocarbamol, is not available here in New Zealand. Fred
