's daughters introduction

Hello group,

We are Hannah and Hayley, 's daughters. He told us about

this group so we wanted to join also. As he said, we are 20 and

are asymptomatic with CMT X. We attend Pepperdine University and

have finally chosen majors in Life Sciences and Business. This summerr

we will be taking some extra classes at UCLA and also working part

time at a board shop in town near where we live.

We like to follow professional volleyball and play a

little ourselves, nothing too much. We like to hang at

a local coffee house evenings where there are jam sessions

and sometimes poetry readings.

Are there any other twins with CMT out there and for

anyone who is a young adult, how do you feel about

knowing you have CMT and perhaps passing that on in a

family of your own. This is a struggle for us. While

we know we have X, yet are asymptomatic, we understand

the possibility for symptoms appearing later and also

in future generations. Other than Dad, we do not know anyone

with CMT. Our Grampa supposedly had it, but he is deceased

too.

Hi Hannah & Haley,

My name is . I am 35 but I wanted to jump in to say something about type

X. I was told by a nurse friend that if you have type X you can do sex

selection of the sperm and have a child without CMT.
