Guest guest
Wash your hands with antibacterial soap after you've been around the " Ill " . Try not to touch your face/eyes/mouth till you wash your hands. Try to sit away from them. Face away from their hacking. Put as much distance between you and them as you can. For the last two years I've taken airborn, immune tea and sucked zinc lounges when I go out in big crowds or am around someone who might be sick. I haven't had one cold in two years. For example on school days I take an airborn tablet before class, if I start feeling run down or like I might be getting ill I drink immune tea or suck zinc and if someone caring for me or living with me is sick I do all three for a few days. I mostly do this October - April because I rarely get ill in the summer. I'm more adamant about it December through March the months I more likely get colds. If I know I've been exposed for extended period of time (sharing a car ride versus sharing elevator ride) for the next few days I try doing any " lung maintenance " that I might do if I had a cold. Like assisted coughing, postural drainage, deep breathing, breath in steam from hot water....... Nothing major. Just once a day. That way if I do get sick I get a headstart and keep airways moving. You can ask anyone working for you who might be sick to use a mask and gloves around you. You might carry a packet of pocket tissues or cough drops/candy. That way if a stranger is hacking you could say " Here let the tissue catch the germs and not me. " or just by offering nicely they might notice they should cover their mouth. Or a cough drop may soothe the cough.

I started that the second day I was ill. It is getting me well very quickly. My son whom is also sick and will not listen to me. He has been sick for two weeks and tried to move down in his lungs. I worry when someone is sick and not getting well that I may give them this aweful dease. In Light Lynn > > hi Again Lynn,Tough week for you...with the buggggs...Do you have any echinacia for Your infection....i know what you mean with the creeps going under the fingernails...had one thought of putting some garlic up Your nose...Like a fairly big clove in each nostril...When people have hemmorhoids sometimes they put a clove of garlic in the rectum...only thing is You wouldn't want it to get stuck in your nose(like my niece thought She was fuuny when She was 10 yrs. old and put pussywillows up Her nose and had to go to ER )...Just a whole clove....maybe leave it in while awake for a couple of hours..kinda weird idea but might work...maybe having the worms come out is part of Your cleansing process...i think the bugggssss are more active this time a year.....Hugs,Rose...Lime juice is very good for thinning mucous...juice of 2 limes,1/3 teaspoon of cayenne,16 oz water, sweetener whatever you like, drink to your tolerance...take 3000 mg vit C and good amount of > echinacia...extra garlic on everything..(think you have a strong tummy?) >
