If your father and 2 Aunts have Type 2 then you have it also, provided this is confirmed with neurological testing, family history, etc. Even within the same family, CMT symptoms can differ, so some of your symptoms might not be your fathers, and some of your Aunts' symptoms may not be yours. Within the general Type 2 range, there are many types of Type 2. Swimming is a good form of exercise and sport for anyone if they can do it. I hope your doctor will be able to eventually pinpoint your CMT Type 2 and give you a better understanding of CMT.
