Guest guest
Marti and all, There are some other options that a financial planner and attorney can help with such as a 'special needs trust' and a reverse mortgage. These are usually for seniors, but I found some helpful information this way. I also found some information from these websites helpful. http://www.elderlawanswers.com/ http://www.aarp.org/revmort/ http://www.reverse.org/ In 1985 I had a talk with my Internist all about completing an Advance Directive. He had forms in his office, but I have seen forms on the Net to download. Once a year I review this document and make changes if I need to. It seems there is much to think about and decide upon for future planning. I go as slow as I need to and in talking with professionals, if I don't understand, I ask for another explanation so I 'get it'. These decisions require time, effort, understanding, and a clear head. ~ Gretchen
