Guest guest
Hello group, A question for those who exercise: in one of the older newsletters I read that CMT muscles have to work twice as hard to do half the work and that's why we get tired. OK, so I vary my exercise routine, some biking, some walking, some free weights, some swimming. I also vary the days and other than a walk, give myself at least 24 hours in between exercise and I do drink plenty of water. So if my muscles really are working twice as hard, is my body creating too much lactic acid? I don't feel bad or anything from my workouts, so I have figured nothing is harmful, but just wondered what others know about a potential lactic acid buildup. And welcome ka. My wife passed away when my daughters were 10 so I became a single Dad. At first I thought I was going to loose it from the stress; but I didn't have time! Eventually we all grew closer, the stress subsided and because we all have Type X we have tried to learn more about CMT. My daughters are 20 now; and I am old lol, but happy.
