I got the disabled tag for my car, and I only use it

when I need it. If conditions are slippery, or

if I already walked a lot that day, or if I have lots

of standing or walking planned for later, I

use my tag. If there is only one handicap space left

and it is raining or something, I'll leave the space

for somebody who might be more impaired. Those

handicap spaces get used up pretty fast when it rains.

I know some healthy people who use borrowed tags (never

mine) for convenience. Rascals!

I don't know if I look disabled or not... I limp a bit,

but I still worry that people might think I park unfairly.

It has helped to read and talk about this. Maybe I'll

be able to remember 's good advice next time I start

to worry about what strangers in a parking lot think of me!
