So far, we've been told the port will be in the left chest, the right chest

and now, you mention lower rib area! I won't be surprised if it comes out

in her belly button, then!

Any suggestions on how and when to tell a 2yo that she is having a port put

in or what surgery is?

The surgeon that put it in accessed the vein right

under her collar bone, the port with the big incision is right at the end

of

her rib cage, not in her chest. The surgeon that did it said that's where

he

puts them.
