Guest guest
So far, we've been told the port will be in the left chest, the right chest and now, you mention lower rib area! I won't be surprised if it comes out in her belly button, then! Any suggestions on how and when to tell a 2yo that she is having a port put in or what surgery is? Thanks for the prayers! Pam Mom to 4 Rebekah with IgA and IgG deficiencies, failure to make D and T antibodies (is there a name for this part of the deficiency??) and more to come The surgeon that put it in accessed the vein right under her collar bone, the port with the big incision is right at the end of her rib cage, not in her chest. The surgeon that did it said that's where he puts them.
