Guest guest
On my first flush I had such horrible indigestion from the grapefruit/lemon mix with the olive oil I could hardly sleep all night. I read that applejuice can be substituted for the citrus. Anybody have any experience or advice on this? Also I finally found Ornithine as recommended as an optional sleep aid by Dr. . Has anyone tried this before? She says to take 4 capsules with the olive oil or 8 if you suffer from insomnia. The ones I got are 500mg. 8 seems like a lot. Any suggestions from the experienced. I will be taking my dose at 10pm tonight for my 2nd flushing experience and will let you all know how things come out. I sure hope it is less painful than it was the first time. I guess my experience was not the norm. Jerome
Guest guest
Hey Lu - congratulations on a second flush! Did you just do this last night? you might still see things in your bowel movements for the next day or so - that happens to some people. What is the " love your liver " diet? Is this from. Dr. Cabot? in health, rachel~ demi111@... writes: << I believe the flush was successful in that if in fact the dark green is from softened broken down stones, then that explains the color of the movements this morning. Guest guest
, Thanks for the info. I will be prepared. Yes, the diet is from Dr. Cabot. My daughter brought this home from Australia last year and we thought it was a great sound cleansing diet to adhere to. Finally I am getting around to doing it. *lol* I am very very hungry today, I have only had broth, juice and water. After all that throwing up I am a little hesitant in putting any solid food in me for a while. Maybe tonight I will try something soft. Have you ever experienced throwing up with any of your flushes? The only time I actually recall throwing up was one time when I couldn't stomach the oil/juice mix. Of course I will recommend peppermint oil. I've used it an an aromatherapy diffuser and have even put a drop or two of it right into the oil/juice mix. Sorry you're going through this and I hope that others will be of more help than I've been (which is virtually none, I think) in health, rachel~ The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it and ignorance may deride it, but in the end there it is. " Winston Churchill
Guest guest
Actually, you have all been a huge help here. I found out that indeed there is a stomach flu on the loose. At the time I was spinning and queasy last night I was in a severe sweat and it behaved exactly like a stomach flu. I think I will try another cleanse in a few weeks and see what I experience. My first flush I didn't even break a sweat so this was quite drastic....especially since my body is use to cleansing......not this cleanse but quite familiar with cleansing and my diet quite pure. Wow, that's an impressive statement to make - to have a pure diet. Congratulations, that's awesome! I wanted to tell you that I thought of you last night when I was reading in a newsletter from Dr. Schulze. He commented (and this is not a direct quote) that sometimes those type of symptoms that you describe are experienced when stuff is being loosened from the walls of the colon. If I find that section again I'll give you the direct quote. Anyway, I was thinking that the gallbladder cleanse, with all the oil, might possibly have lubricated something that was attached to the wall somewhere and perhaps that in combination with whatever creates the stomach flu, maybe it had sort of a cleansing effect and you're eliminating some old waste. It's just a theory - maybe a stretch. And actually, if your diet has been this pure for a long time, then I guess it's unlikely that you had buildup on the inside. Okay, just me thinking out loud over here!! rachel~ The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it and ignorance may deride it, but in the end there it is.
