Guest guest
Good evening, I was reading everyone's posts about necks. I just got an MRI report that says 4 cervical discs are bulging, that I have moderate to severe spinal stenosis plus neural formanina stenosis (what is that?) I only saw the Dr. that did the EMG and thankfully, no nerve damage yet. He said it looked like surgery to him. I had Harrington Rod surgery in 1981 and 1983 when the rod broke. In 1988, the little compression rod came out and I was fused at L5/S1. So of course, like many of you - I now have flatback and am pitched way over. No lower back pain at present. So my question is - does any type of pt work? I really would like to avoid any more surgery (5 is enough). Would surgery be like putting a band-aid on? I live in northern VA - any suggestions as far as doctors. Any suggestions of any kind are welcome. Please email me at mscello@... I am discontinuing my AOL account. Thanks! Guest guest
.... Neural foraminal stenosis is a narrowing of the space where the spinal cord passes through the vertebrae.
