Gretchen,

I feel obligated to respond to your recent post which stated

that most private neurologists know about CMT and wish to help

us. How I wish that were true in this area which includes

service by the Binghamton NY MDA office.

As for a therapeutic pool facility, I do know that one hospital

wellness center in the southern tier of NY has a therapeutic

pool; however, I have not visited there to see exactly what is

included. The one you describe sounds out of this world!

I have a support group in this area and have a very difficult

time getting neurologists to speak to us. You are blessed with

your situation, i.e. finding help for your CMT problems. I do

hope that soon many more of us CMTers in this area might be

able to say the same.
