It looks like the brace I wore after they put hardware in in 2000/2001.

The concept sounds like my friend, who in the 60's had NO surgery, her

doctor made a plaster cast for her, cut it and put straps on it, and made

her wear it. At least you could wear it under your clothes (the ones I had

went under your chin and over the back of your head, very embarrassing, and

I had to wear one a total of 18 months (had two operations, 9 month casting

each.)

I think her doctor had the same idea, to try and keep her Scoliosis from

progressing, but it didn't work.

But I had surgery, my other friend had the Milwaukee brace, and all three

of us still have problems with Scoliosis.

(sigh) I guess somebody has to be the percentage of patients where

treatment " fails. "

Actually, Kaiser gave me a similar device to wear to reduce pain. So it's

still around in some form, but is given to people with chronic pain.

You have pads hat stick on the electrodes.

I found it helped, but it's so big, I can't carry around with it running

during the day.

Is anyone else using it?
