Guest guest
I had a spinal fusion from T10 to L5 on 9-10-07. The first couple of weeks at home were rough. About a month later I tripped and fell on both of my knees. I really did not think I hurt anything. On 10-24-07 while back at the doctor's office for routine x-rays I hear that there was instrumentation loose at the bottom of my spine, probably from the fall. The following day I was back in surgery for 3 hrs and spent another 4 days in the hospital. In spite of the rough recovery and my limitations on my activities I am now free of back pain after suffering for 40 yrs. I just turned 60. I also grew 1 1/2 inches with the surgery once they straightened out my spine. I am so happy that I found someone that would finally help me. Guest guest
Hi All, I fell when I was running to get the phone. That has made my whole family very nervous about the winter weather that we have been having. When it is icy, they have been holding on the me so I don't slip. I feel kind of foolish but my doctor did not order the brace until after my second surgery.
