Miracle Network Program Highlights Scoliosis Surgery

Hi,

I just thought I would let everyone know that the Life Channel in

Canada (not certain where this program is aired in the US), maybe

can recall? will be airing a program that shows the process of

a 12 year old girl with spinal bifida who has a rather severe

scoliotic curve and undergoes a spinal fusion (anterior and

posterior) at Toronto's Sick Kids Hospital.

While this is the case of a young woman with secondary scoliosis, it

shows the surgeons discussing the use of pedicle screws and there is

a good albeit short explanation of the surgery.

It airs at 9 PM AST (8 EST) on the Life Network.
