I was diagnosed at age 41 with scoliosis after my entire back went

out. While I've been told that I have moderate scoliosis, I can't get

any answers about the degree of my curvature, the type of curve ( " s "

versus " c " ) and other related questions. Who should have given me this

information, and where should I pursue it now? (The nurse practitioner

that I saw was only given a summary of my x-rays with the term moderate

upper thoracic region, and the reader of the x-ray refused to give a

Cobb angle.) I'm not under any mainstream medical care, but I am

receiving regular chiropractic adjustments.

Also, I've had lordosis or swayback ever since I can remember. Does

anyone know if this is related to my scoliosis or just more bad luck

regarding my back?

I'm too old for any kind of bracing, and surgery has not been discussed

as an option. Any one else out there diagnosed at an older age? What

have you done that has helped? Please help me feel a little less lost!
