I lost 15lbs the first 10 days, I started at 335. I have been yoyoing since then

at 320, partly cause my mind has been doing a number on me.

I stopped taking my anti anxiety/depression meds when I started the diet and am

thinking that was not the right decision for me.

I am pretty much totally off the effects of the drug now and I really dont like

the person I am off the drug. I get frustrated and fly into a rage at the

smallest and stupidist things, which is not helping my homelife and family at

all. A fight with my spouse sent me into a depressive spiral where I was

thinking about suicide for about an hour. To make me feel better I went to

restaurant by myself and had a shwerma wrap. Probably all my calories at one

time but I did feel better, calmer. It's been 2 days since and I am ready to get

back on my pill. I cant be this emotionally out of control and do this diet, its

to hard on my family for me to be a raging lunitic. I cant do this and keep the

motivation going if I get fully depressed again.

Needless to say I havent done anymore of the Wii challenge this week other then

the first day, which I was beating myself up over. Feeling like I was letting

you guys down.

A thought on the beef, veal, lean meat topic.... Buffalo is incredibly lean and

tastes like beef. I can get ground buffalo most of the time at a store called

Trader Joes, in the frozen eisle. It is also possible to get it direclty online

from the farmers through a website called Local Harvest. Local Harvest is a

national directory of farmers who sell direct to customers. Most are organic

farmers. I love this site. Prices tend to be high, but this is very high end

organic food, but you are getting the best nutritionaly loaded food there is in

the country. Most of the farmers love to have people come visit and see what

they are doing, learn how they are improving their land. Farm visits are a blast

and my kids love to go see where their food is grown, raised.

thanks for listening

Kari
