Guest guest
Previous Arguments over use of Ostrich while maintaining the 500 VLCD were all focused on a belief that the protocol did not specifically state that Ostrich Meat was acceptable. There is plenty of room in the Protocol for changes within a certain range. QUOTE from A.T.W. SIMEONS, M.D. HCG Diet Protocol Making up the Calories When local conditions or the feeding habits of the population make changes necessary it must be borne in mind that the total daily intake must not exceed 500 calories if the best possible results are to be obtained, that the daily ration should contain 200 grams of fat-free protein and a very small amount of starch. End Quote Now there appears to some purest Gods here and elsewhere are too ignorant to understand that within certain limits, SIMEONS acknowledged that dietary changes within the specified limits were permitted. Now this QUOTED directly from the protocol. So now let's here God like diatribes that Ostrich Meat would NOT be allowed per the protocol.
