Guest guest
- Enjoyed your message and information but have a question: Do you eat anything other than fruit as a life style, or do you eat only fruit for a period of time to bring your body into healing? Would really appreciate your reply. thanks, Sheila ----- Original Message ----- From: <gallstonesegroups> <gallstonesegroups> Sent: Friday, August 25, 2000 2:49 AM Subject: Digest Number 403 > > You are receiving this email because you elected to subscribe to the gallstonesegroups. My daughter will be turning seven next month and is having about 6 girls stay overnight. She would like to do some " crafts " in the evening and she loves to help me make soap {all she gets to do is stand them up straight after they have been unmolded to cure}. Any thoughts on what type of crafts we can do? I'd appreciate any advise one can offer.... >> Have you ever made the no bake chocolate oatmeal cookies. Another thing that is fun is to make taffy and let the kids pull it. You could make caramel apples with Eagle Brand Milk. They are delicious. You could give the kids 2 sacks full of old clothes and have a dress up time, It is fun to have relays dressing and undressing. You have to have 2 sacks of similar clothes. The bigger the clothes are the better. A game we have played is like scavenger hunt only the participants do not leave the room. Divide kids into teams. One person is appointed the " runner. " A person (adult or older child) stands in the middle of the room (a larger room is best) and says....red sock (or whatever) and the team has to find one and give it to the runner to take to the caller. First runner to reach the caller gets a point. It gets funny when you call out items of clothing the kids have to work to get off. Another thing that is fun is like a quiz of sorts. Ask the kids questions (You could use questions in those little boxes at Costco which are age relevant) and if they get the answers right, they get the components for an ice cream sundae. The hitch is the bowl comes last. So, you end up with kids having ice cream in their hands and eating quickly. Oh, the spoons are a forgotten item. They have to lick the ice cream with their tongues. Good luck....if you want or need more let me know. We used to do these things with the kids at school. Wyn, in cold Anchorage
Guest guest
-- Sorry that you're not feeling well. Here's to a swift recovery. Congrats on the 2 pound loss! Great job. When I'm sick I walk for exercise. I slow down my pace but walk longer. Stretching feels great especially when the rest of me is bleah. Sue -- I hope the school year brings better health for you. Hang in there. Hugs! Hugs to all. BB!
