Guest guest
WELCOME!!! I am just about finished with my first round of phase 2. (25 pound so far) For me it was about making my meals easy and usually ahead of time. My favorite lunch is a lean organic hamburger pattie which I wrap in lettuce with a little organic mustard (which if I can't make lunch or get stuck out I can find at a restaurant). The same with my favorite dinner. Lean chicken chopped small and cooked in a non stick pan with garlic and oregano. I put that over a lettuce and tomato salad with a little organic apple cider vinegar dressing (recipe on this site in files). I thought I would share my two favs. I am so excited about my second round of phase 2. I plan on working out more during phase 3 to be sure and keep my fat ratio in check. I don't mind the weight as long as I am losing body fat. Best of luck, JeanneKyneta Lee <kyne_19702@...> wrote: Hello All, I am so glad that I found this group. I got KT's book on Monday. I have found it very hard to follow any type of eating plan because I am single mother of a young child who is in some type of extra curricular activity almost every day of the week. We usually don't even get home until 8:30 or after. If suggestions to help with my planning process would be greatly appreciated. Sick sense of humor? Guest guest
I feel the same way. I am a teacher so I am off during the summer. It is easier for me to stay focused on something when I am in school. There is too much temptation while I am at home with the kids. I have the hcg but there has never been the right time. I did start the diet but was moving the very next day and thought that it would be impossible to follow while moving. When is the right time? I want to to this and stick to it so that I will be successful. Meagn Kyneta Lee <kyne_19702@...> wrote: Hello All, I am so glad that I found this group. I got KT's book on Monday. Guest guest
the day you start is the right time!! I know you think being home with your children will cause temptation, but believe me you'll do fine. I am also a teacher and began on June 7th. I made it through end of the year class parties, ice-cream and freezie days and the teacher's end of the year get-together. (I ordered the spinach salad and asked the waitress to only bring the spinach and lemon wedges, none of the other ingredients in the salad.) I have also gone to restaraunts several times with my family. I order baked or steamed fish with salad.(again only the lettuce and lemon wedges) I even survived my mom's 83rd birthday party. I usually cook two separate meals as my husband and daughter are not following the protocol. I do not feel any temptation to cheat by tasting their food. (I actually an rather disgusted my some of their meals, like greasy hamburgers, Mc's etc.) I also find the feel of greasy meat on my hands bothers me so I will often wear gloves while preparing their meat. You will probably find that once you begin, and complete your load days, that you are so sick of eating you will welcome your healthy food. So just decide that you are sick of being over-weight, break open an ampoule, mix your solution and begin!! You will not regret the decision to start, you'll only wish you had started sooner!! Best on luck on your weight loss journey! (I've lost 20.2 pounds and after 7 more days, will be on phase 3.) Cathi > Hello All, > > I am so glad that I found this group. I got KT's book on Monday. Guest guest
Hello! I'm new as of today! I just started the protocol 6 days ago. The first two days, eating all that food, was really hard on me, since I don't eat a lot normally. I felt a bit sick for a few days, but wasn't sure if that was due to the shots, or my stomach just rebelling. I have lost 6 pounds since starting, and I took my 6th shot today. I'm looking for advice, to make this as easy as it can be, since I tend to get bored with eating the same things all the time. Any recipes out there to share? Also, would love to hear from anyone on how they are doing, etc. I have around 60 pounds I want to get rid of, so plan to do the protocol at least 2 times. So, any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated! Kym from Florida
