Guest guest
Hi Everyone! My name is Rick. I am new to the group. I wanted to thank all of you for all of the incredibly helpful information that is located in the files section. All I can say is WOW... it answered all of my technical questions! I have done my research and am ready to start the program. From what I have been able to surmise, it seems like drugdelivery.ca is the outfit to go with. Am I correct on this? Although price is important, I don't mind paying a little more if I can trust the company. I really like that they carry the smaller vials as I don't feel comfortable mixing a big batch and then having it sit around. I also researched all of the supply companies and " research supply " seems to be the one that I feel most comfortable with. Their prices also don't seem that bad. If anyone has any better suggestions on either count, I am definitely interested in hearing your opinion. With that said, I found a coupon on-line for drugdelivery.ca (#73979) Its a dollar off. Its not doing to make it or break it but hey, its a dollar on my side! LOL It will at least take a little bit off of the bite of the expensive shipping. A little on my path to HCG... I was on bontril for 5 years. Yes, it helped but it has totally destroyed my metabolism. As in, there is none. Nothing like working out hard for an hour daily, walking for an hour daily, watching what I eat very closely, and then watching the scale sit in the same spot week after week. Its enough to drive anyone mad! LOL Mind you, I stopped taking Bontril about 5 months ago, and my metabolism is still wacky. So, in a desperate attempt to do something, I came across KT's book, read it and I had my " AHA! " moment... he was describing me. I am not fat all over... I am only fat in certain spots. Since I was so used to losing weight with a medical center, I thought I would take that route, particularly since it has to do with my health and an obvious imbalance of some sort. When I started this process, I decided to research GHI Medical in Florida and do the program through them. Being with a bariatric doctor for the past 5 years, I kind of knew what questions to ask in order to determine whether they were a scam or where on the up and up. After interviewing them at length, I gave them a thumbs down. First off, the program is very expensive... particularly for a program in which you are doing all of the work yourself. Its not like they even have to ever see your face. After a couple of hundred dollars in tests PLUS a form that a " primary physician " has to fill out (more cost), then they charge you $399 as their fee plus $12 to process your payment. I laughed and thought that for $400 PLUS dollars, they could at least throw in the " process payment " fee. That left a little bit of a tacky taste in my mouth. On top of this, they charge you $210 for the 6 weeks of medication. I was wondering if this would be something specifically mixed for me. I specifically asked. Nope, same " prescription " name brand HCG that you can pick up at any drug store. This is where we get to the part that turned me off. As a patient, I feel it is my right to get a prescription and handle getting my medication on my own. They refused to do so, they insisted that I get the drugs from them, and as an aside threw in that HCG is " in high demand and impossible to find anyway. " That lie killed the deal for me... with a prescription, you can get Pregnyl at CVS, Walgreens, etc. So, as a company they force me to buy a bottle of Pregnyl that is $49.00 at ANY drugstore (10,000 units) for $210 from them and then wait around for it. In all fairness, I was so turned off by the bold lie that HCG is impossible to find on my own that I did not verify whether the $210 was just for the medication or if it included the supplies also (syringes, etc.) But by the pitch they were giving me (lady was a bit snippy) and their $12 " processing fee " charge which I found ludicrous, I doubt that the $210 would get you anything other than the bottle of medication. I just hung up the phone and just kind of just sat there for a moment with my thoughts. I am all for commerce and capitalism, but I have to take exception when someone prays on the sadness, fear and insecurity of an overweight person. We really go through a lot in SO many ways… didn't seem right that they would sock me in my wallet and assume that I was a dummy that didn't know any better. So being turned off by the process of going through a medical facility, I vowed to hammer it out on my own and so here I am! As an aside, I am at 245 pounds now. I started my quest at 375 pounds (yes, that first number is a 3!!! LOL) I got down from 375 to 315 on my own and then from 315 to 245 with my diet doctor (and evil bontril LOL) Now I am looking to finish this baby off and return to my college weight. ))) I would like to get down to about 175-180, which is the weight that I should be at. In all honesty, I have been sloppy about it up until now and have gone for looooong periods of time of not actively trying to lose weight. It has taken me from November 2001 until today to go from 375 to 245. I am now totally committed and very ready to kick some butt! LOL Looking forward to participating in the group and eventually reporting my results... Since I am a " newbie " and still haven't purchased my supplies, any advice or tips would definitely be most welcome! Rick
Guest guest
Hi Rick and welcome to the group! I'm sure you will find lots of support here. I'm on my 4th week and I ordered my hcg from drugdelivery.ca and my supplies from researchsupply.net. I had to order hcg 2 different times because I will have to do at least 2 courses and I couldn't buy it all at once. The 1st order came in exactly 14 business days and the 2nd in 15 business days so I thought that was excellent. The only thing I didn't like about them was their tracking system. It doesn't work. I never could track my shipments online with the # they gave me and when I called, they couldn't tell me either. I really wouldn't worry unless it's been 14 days or you get a letter from the FDA, lol. There have been some posts about hcg5000.com lately. It's in the US so you wouldn't have to worry about customs, but I don't know anything about them. My supplies were a few days late, but they had a couple things back ordered. Sounds like you've already come a long way. Good luck and best wishes on your weight loss. > > Hi Everyone! > > My name is Rick. I am new to the group. Guest guest
Hi Rick, Welcome to the group. Congrats on your accomplishements to date! You're going to love this diet. I urge you to do phase 1 first. I think it really makes a difference and increases the speed that you'll lose when in phase 2. I also like colonix and toxin out by dr natura for my cleanses. Its expensive but its a colon cleanse, liver, kidney, metals, and yeast cleanses all rolled up into two products. I bought them for 2 months, don't think 90 days are necessary. I'm also doing them through phase 2. And will do another type of cleanse for phase 3 if necessary. Are you on thyroid medication? If so ask your doctor to switch you to Armour thyroid its all natural and won't interfere with your weightloss. It was recommended to me by someone on another hcg group and it was excellent advice. I'm on it and losing fast 23lbs in 19 days and 48 yrs old. So its not cause I'm young. My metabolism was all messed up too from habitual dieting. You're going to love this and meet & exceeed your goals in no time! Have an awesome day! Sharon > >> > Hi Everyone!> > > > My name is Rick. I am new to the group. Guest guest
Hi Sharon,Thanks so much for the kind welcome! :)I have been doing some aspects of Phase 1 already. Interestingly enough, I have been doing the Dr. Natura colon cleanse myself. Just the main colon one. I was going to do the whole kit and caboodle when I enter Phrase 3. The colon cleanse has not interfered with your Phase 2??? I was going to finish it up before I did Phase 2 as I was afraid that it would interfere with the process. I haven't been on any kind of medication for the past 5 months including over the counter and finally in the past couple of days have seen some improvement in my metabolism on my own. This has been through exercise (yoga, calisthenics and weight lifting) daily walking for an hour, yerba mate tea, organic raw apple cider drinks, organic foods (as best as I can) and a gallon of water a day. So, you can see why I was SO frustrated after a few weeks of NO weight loss after totally doing my part. In the next day or so I will be ordering a shower filter as I think that will make a big difference.I will combine my research with any other advice from the group as to suppliers for all of the items for the protocol and will be purchasing everything this weekend. I will be doing 6 weeks at 200 iu. I want to finish up in time for my August vacation to the Florida Keys. I literally have not been seen in public without my shirt on since about 2000. Looking forward to being a normal, fit healthy guy. :)Rick Re: Intro, observation and discount coupon... Guest guest
Hi...Thanks so much for the warm welcome! I am looking forward to blowing the lid of this and going through the process.Rick Re: Intro, observation and discount coupon... Hi Rick and welcome to the group! I'm sure you will find lots of support here. I'm on my 4th week and I ordered my hcg from drugdelivery. ca and my supplies from researchsupply. net. Guest guest
Hi Rick, Be aware that on your vacation following Phase 2, you must abstain from both starches and sweets to avoid rapid weight gain in Phase 3.
