Dear CC,

Molly hit the nail on the head. The way that we

become close friends is by what we share and how we

care on this list.

There are times when we do e-mail each other off the

list if we feel the subject matter needs only those

eyes to see it and that's okay.

I feel guilty sometimes because I end up talking about

everything but what this list is for but have to

remind myself that none of us live in a vacuum. What

affects the outside goes inside and so on. Sometimes

it is that same or similar situation that makes us

connect with someone and help them because we have

walked down that path too.

Take care,

That is the reason, I missed this list and came back (thank you

friends for the warm return) we care about each other, and support

each other in ALL areas of our lives. I really believe that is what

Rashelle intends and that is why she named it so aptly " life Lift " .

Rashelle and all members of this group help keep us " up " in life and

the wonderful breathing is just good for the body! Connie

Dear Connie,

Sounds like to me that you also have hit the nail on

Hi Connie,

I am so glad that you are back here with us. What a wonderful way to interpret

the meaning of Rashelle's name for her wonderful aerobic breathing program!!

That is truly a nice sentiment, but I think that it is much more likely that the

name Life Lift refers to

1. The fact that OXYGEN is essential to life. Of course, oxygen is the main

ingredient of Life Lift aerobic breathing,

and that:

2. Part of the process of Life Lift breathing is the kegel, or, BELLY LIFT,

So, putting those two elements together--OXYGEN=LIFE

and the stomach kegel=the LIFT

But your interpretation of the name LIFE LIFT is very beautiful and oh so very

true.

Love always,

Pat

Wow, Molly!! CC is right!! That is some schedule. I go to bed around 1:00 am

each morning, and I think THAT is late!!!

Please make sure that you do plenty of Life Lift breathing, Molly!!! With that

kind of schedule your immune system needs all the oxygen it can get!!!

Love always,

Pat

Very GOOD, Molly !!! I lose track of how many breaths I've done, so I

just have to watch the clock & go by how many minutes I've done <:-)

Hi CC ,

After a while we sort of know how many we are doing in a certain

amount of time . so it would be easier to just do them for 7 - 8

minutes or whatever we need to .

Molly you are an inspiration. I love the idea of a timer.

I was fussed this morning. My husband told me to quit " breathing " . I didn't

even realize I was doing it...but I was " blowing out " while walking in a

Walmart...too funny! I couldn't help but think, " quit breathing " ????

Yep, I do not have lots of encouragement around me. But I do have you guys.

I really believe this is the last " program " I will ever be on. I have several

weight machines and exercise bikes, etc. But, truthfully, I have enjoyed and

felt so much stronger with Lifelift . I know, that I know, that I know...this

is IT!

Even now though, I continue to read any and all " oxygen " information on the

web.

Have you ever seen the adds for " cellfood " . A friend of my was touting it

years ago and had given me some. It was just a few drops under your

tongue...oxygen supposedly. Too funny, nowadays if I saw this friend, I would

have to tell her she could breathe and not spend quite so much money. :)

I have 10 breaths down...going for 90 more...happy Friday all!

Good one, , maybe you were subconsciously " blowing off steam " in

that Wal-Mart with good ol' Mr. Cranky Pants (LOL)...

I find the " straw exhale " to be the MOST relaxing part of LL -- And

Rashelle teaches that the more stress we can " sigh away " the faster

we LOSE inches & weight (especially around the mid-section) !!!

Hello ,

I love your conviction and determination.

My husband has known for years that when I starting blowing out slowly that I am

feeling some stress so he knows exactly what I am doing to get rid of it and it

works. Your husband should be so glad that you are doing something positive to

take care of yourself and frankly he should realize you will be a lot nicer to

be around if you let go of some of that stress.

Stress can create havoc in our bodies and they can make us miserable to be

around, so breathing to reduce your stress is the perfect thing to do. Maybe he

should start breathing with you..it might make him a little happier. I can hear

my husband upstairs right now doing some LifeLift breaths.

We are always here to support you. I think you are perfectly precious.

Be Healthy and take good care,

Rashelle

Re: How many inches has everyone lost in the 1st week?

Hi ,

I lost 17 INCHES off my torso in the 1st week & went from a tight

size 16 to a loose size 10 after the first 3 months <:-) Since then,

I've been on LifeLift maintenance for the last 3 years -- I don't

diet at all, or overdose on water, but I do keep hydrated & eat

sensibly <:-)

To continue reducing, it's important to switch up your LL workouts

every other day or so, or you'll be more likely to stall on a

plateau, from your body getting in a rut -- When you " surprise " your

system by doing different positions, working new muscle groups, and

even just changing the TIMES when you exercise, it helps kick-start

another loss cycle!

Relaxation is really KEY for releasing fats & toxins...

You are all really giving me a lot of laughter tonight. When I don't

wear a bra and am walking around the INSIDE of my house; I can't help

but singing one of the Barney (yes kids tv) song; 'do your ears hang

low; do they waddle to and fro; can you tie them in a knot.....'

I prefer mine in a bow. : )

Hope you are all sleeping soundly.

How dare you ask why I don't give away my product if I want to help people? Try telling them at the grocery store that you want free groceries; it's just as ludicrous. Do you go to your job every day for free, Lynnie? Most people don't and can't. And I HAVE given much to this group for FREE. The reason for the signature is to let people know that I offer the discount to the groups I am a member of. Since you have chosen to start calling me names such as "victim", let me just say that if you want everything that people do to help others to be FREE, then you must be a communist. Go live in a communist country (there aren't that many left, by the way, wonder why?) and see what you get for FREE, Lynnie. I've been to a communist country, China. I saw a family of FOUR on a motorcycle that was clearly the family vehicle. That's the standard of living that you get from that kind of thinking. And you are welcome

to that kind of life. Only a true victim like you would expect to get something for nothing like that. Only a victim expects for their needs to be satisfied for free, so you seem to be the real victim here.

Step off.

gosh.. this seems like much the same rebuttal I think I read on here a few months ago. I don't know Judith from Jesus but that isn't the point. The point is, as long as I've been coming on this board and other boards, I have seen this same scenario with you CC (email not typed because that's just another immature thing to do). I have ignored it many times, and I have responded many times. I'm not sure if it was this board or one of the others this EXACT same thing happened. ONE thing was said against you and you flew off the handle claiming nobody was defending you and you were leaving and on and on and on. CC, you have a LOT of experience, strength and hope, but its muddled with a victim role that I guess a lot of us that have weight issues deal with daily. We are not victims, nobody needs to "defend" us. We are grown ups. We can say what's on our mind. Personally if you can't accept what

other people say or at least try, maybe you shouldn't be on a board at all. And this isn't just you. This is for ANYONE. If there were no ulterior motive then why in all your signatures is your advertisement for an ebook. Isn't word of mouth good enough? If a person wants to REALLY help people... why not offer it for free? And as far as an "unwarrented" attack, I believe the intonation was included in your emails as well. Sometimes you say things that make others immediately defensive... but yet when you spurt out something that can be intoned as offensive, its NOT okay for others to be that way.

Anyway.... again my 2 cents (ok maybe 40 cents).

Lynnie
