Having a sensitive body :-) the scalp being a particular problem I find it hard to find a suitable shampoo etc. if it doesn't contain sodium laureth sulfate then I find that the other alternative ammonium laureth sulphate just as bad, or the alchols in them, or the parabens...I know easiest answer is don't wash it :-) I am presently using a shampoo and conditioner (and soap) that is produced by a UK company called The Green People Company and have few/if any problems with their products. Mind you not 100% certain what the cleaning agent is...web address is http://www.greenpeople.co.uk/ -- Steve - Cheltenham, UK --------- In love and light we are In darkness we are no less
Guest guest
Dear , Using ER4Yt compatible shampoos, soaps, skin creams, etc has been really important for me. Skin is an organ. It absorbs things very quickly, that's why its used for nicotine patches. Hormone replacements (progestone) when taken internally, have to be given in 10x the strengh of what can be applied on the skin. I used to use a " wonderful " shampoo ($22 Canadian a bottle), only problem is that my hair was heavey and oily and using it would bloat my tummy everytime I took a bath. Then, because of ER I got a Olive Oil based shampoo (no avoids, $5 Canadian a bottle) and my hair stays cleans, its easy to fix and my tummy stays where its supposed to be!! I also used to use Aloe Vera gel for burns, irritations, etc. on my skin. It never worked, it just sit there and mocked me. I now use (good cooking) Olive Oil or Almond Oil, and my skin is really good. I got to thinking what was " oil of olay " originally?? Olive oil? I read a long time ago that many moisturizers contain things that actually dry out your skin, so the more you use it, the more you need it. Just my 2 cents... But I do know from much experimenting, that it makes a big difference to get a shampoo with no wheat germ, no wheat protein, no coconut, etc. Sincerely, Natasha Message: 1 Date: Tue, 15 Aug 2000 11:18:02 EDT From: lescase@... Subject: shampoo? O's!,, wondering about O healthy shampoos + external body products. a lot of shampoos have coconut or coconut derived sodium laureth sulfate... and since that's an avoid,, what to do? since our pores seem to absorb (ex. how does that wild yam cream/progesterone cream get to our organs....) wouldn't the same theory hold for the ingredients in shampoos etc? Also, I used to make a body powder with cornstarch, powdered oatmeal and lavender... I want to try it with arrowroot, are there any other worthwhile things to add to it? thanks much all,,, you all get the day off to a great start! ----------------------------------------------- FREE! Guest guest
dont worry about your shampoo...i have done 2 full rounds of hcg. Anything that is rinsed of your body right away should not affect anything. however things like lotion, deoderant that sit on your skin and soak in are the produts that need consideration. > > I am on day 2 of my gorge and will start the actual diet tomorrow.
