The last week was as hard for me as the first week, and I felt like I was starving. I lost nothing the last week. However, in taking my measurements, I found I was still shrinking, if that makes sense. So I wouldn't worry just about the pounds lost. Your body needs time to adjust. 40 pounds is GREAT! Way to go! Maybe I am at the end of this round and my body won't do anymore? What was ur recipe 4 dressing be cuz I'm thinking about giving it another shot and did u lose 40 pounds on the 21 or 40 days? I will not worry about it and continue to keep doing the same things. I keep eating soup. I know it sounds goofy, but it warms my tummy and makes me feel more full. I will hang in there, and I WILL NOT CHEAT! I have done pretty well and I am very thankful that I found this diet, I realize that this is just a new way of eating and it is not bad...Just feel like I need more. I am worried about going to the next phase. I thought I would die without sweets, but I am doing good and do not crave them anymore. I will be doing another round though, I still have 40lbs to lose...I hope it works also...I am very dedicated to this. Guest guest Posted March 24, 2011 Report Share Posted March 24, 2011 Well I think you should try again! You really have to load load load on those days...Eat non-stop and eat fattening whatever. I weighed 283 when I started, I am 5'9 and a woman. Before my loading days I weighed 278. I am down 40lbs on Phase 1 44 days. I know it is weird. I eat soup, it really fills me up. If you use a cup of broth and a couple cups of water, you are good to go. I ad my protein in the broth and put cabbage in with it, or I make taco soup which is great, and I make an obviously generic version of chili. Use the spices, it really makes a difference. Now for salad dressing this is what I do, I use 2/3 cup red wine vinegar, or Apple cider vinegar, I use 2 shakes of worchestershire sauce, a shake of low sodium soy sauce, I ad pepper flakes, garlic powder, a shake of pepper, and I use cajun seasoning about 1/4 teaspooon then I ad either dry mustard, 2 tspsn or one tspn of dijon mustard, I also ad one pack of splenda or stevia. I shake it up in a container and put in fridge for a few minutes. It is really yummy and all that stuff is no calorie except for the tspn of dijon mustard it is 5 calories. It makes about 4 servings of dressing. You can also use it marinade your meat. I hate vinegar, but I really love this stuff...I hope you try it. > > Can't really tell u much be cuz I gave up.
