Guest guest
Hi all, yesterday was my last shot for the first go round. I have asked my planner that I went with what to do next and haven't heard back as yet. Always before when I took the 2 day break I ate 1200-1500 cals. and was very disappointed when I gained weight on those days. Am I suppose to go on that many cals from the get go or what??? I'm doing this basiclly on my own and I'm not doing very well with it. I don't want to gain back all that I have lost but I don't know what to do next. I lost 21 lbs on the diet and I have to admit that I cheated some. I don't have a problem with not eating. I have a problem of eating when I'm not even hungry and sweets are terrible for me. I need some major help here because I don't know how to handle this stuff. I wrote earlier that my hubby don't want me to quit because he is noticing that the belly is getting smaller. Does anyone else have the eating just to eat problem and the horrible sweet tooth problem?? If so how did you handle it??? H E L P !!!!!!! Guest guest
After your last injection, you stay on the 500 cal diet for 3 more days until the HCG is out of your system. If you do not, you will gain weight. I thought the amount did not matter provided you stayed off of sugars and starches. I also have a sweet tooth but being off of sugar for more than 3 months and I can control it much better. I use stevia in my tea and I am fine. That is a mind set you have to change...or you will gain the weight back. Uou may not be able to do it alone. Counselor's can help you deal with psycological eating. I have started telling myself that I can eat what I want and I don't gain weight. I also like what someone has been saying: Nothing tastes as good as THIN feels! Good Luck! Guest guest
Have you tried the Dave Callaghan technique to stop cravings? This seemed totally silly to me, but I did it and it WORKS. (I was craving my glass of wine with dinner.. and after using this " accupuncture based " tapping technique.. the craving was gone totally -- for 6 weeks!!). This technique is described in the files section on the left... I'm starting phase 3 today myself... I was thinking about continuing on with the injections for another couple of weeks... figured that my body would signal with hunger when I developed the immunity to the HCG.. and that happened at injection 40. (I've continued on 500 calories for three days after finished the shots... and that has been the hardest three days so far... because I'm tired and hungry for the first time. ) Now I get to start eating more for phase three.. My plan for the next three weeks is to eat very small amounts when I'm hungry... avoid sugars and starches all together... (except for the fruits and vegetables allowed in phase 2), and try to keep the calories to around 1200 a day.) I'll follow the Simeons phase 3 rule to weigh every day... and on ANY day that I reach 2 lbs over my weight as of this morning, I will fast until dinner, then have a large steak.... In fact, I plan to do another round of HCG.. so I'll stay on phase 3 until i go back to phase 2 again. I plan to do a full cleanse during this time too... I didn't do that before I started the hcg injections, and as a result lost average of 1/2 lb per day instead of 1 lb per day like a lot of our peers here. (By the way, on my skip days I kept to the 500 calories... no hunger, and no problem doing that.... were you told to increase the calories those days?? I've lost 30 lbs in the first go round...) Hope that helps! Good luck. Jane > > Hi all, > yesterday was my last shot for the first go round. Guest guest
30 Lbs.......that is impressive. That is my goal for the first round of Phase 2, then I will do another round of Phase 2 when I can. Thanks for the inspiration!troubled_nc <troubled_nc@...> wrote: Have you tried the Dave Callaghan technique to stop cravings? This seemed totally silly to me, but I did it and it WORKS.
