I've read your personal posts for a while and my prayers go out to you and your

family. Our daughter used to have periods of extreme rage when she was

triggered, sometimes we could tell what

the trigger was other times not. I'm hoping she's out grown them. I know that if

she had to face some of her worst fears within a stressful time she may not be

able to contain herself. During

the last real rage she had, we were within one hour of having her admitted to a

lock-up facility for kids with OCD and other problems. I believe she knows we

will follow through on this if

she gets out of control.

So the question is how much control do our kids have over these rages? Is it

purely behaviour that will respond solely to limits and punishment? Or is it

linked to the chemical reactions

within the child's OCD or a related spectrum disorder? Anger management may or

may not be of any help. Is Tom willing to accept help? It's a difficult

situation. We've been there. We are

still there when it comes to treatment. The best thing our doctors are doing is

trying to educate our daughter and to zero in on a complete diagnoses in order

for everyone to know what to

accept and how to go on.

Yes. This does happen and is not uncommon. HCG stimulates the endometrial

tissues. Nothing to worry about at this point at all. It should stop on it's

on soon.

Good Luck with the protocol~

For the ladies who have done the protocol:

I waited until I was done with my TOM to start the injections. In fact I

waited a few days after it stopped to start. I am 47 (48 in a couple

months) but still have normal menstral cycles. I am on day 5 of injections,

day 3 of VLCD and have started bleeding again. Could the hCG have brought

on my TOM that early? No abdominal pain, no cramping. I do seem to go to

the bathroom a lot more than normal which does happen around the time I

normally get my cycle but attributed it to the hCG flushig fat out of my

system as this is even more than I normally go before my period. Oh I did

have a backache last night and couldn't sleep from the pain so I did take

some alleve. Has this happened to anyone else?

Thank you Terri for your quick response. Plotting along as normal and hoping it won't last too long since I just had it a week ago.
