> This board was quiet for a few days,

Sorry I was AWOL. I've been spending a lot of time on the phone to my

step-mom in Florida. My dad isn't doing too well and started hospice care

today.

>Great success stories by so many of you!!!

I've got one of my own. For 2 weeks I've been exercising daily (Great for

stress relief!) and eating very low fat, too-low in calories (not hungry)

mostly veggies & fruit, and lost a few pounds to get back to 270.5. I'm only

counting that as a 2 pound loss, as one day I'll weight 272, the next 278,

then back to 273 the next. But I'm going to assume those pounds will come

right back on if I start eating regular again and eat something more than a

plain salad for lunch and a bowl of cooked veggies for dinner.

My calories didn't even break 1000 for a few days. I know - bad, bad, bad!

I'm tired, listless, have had a headache going on about 6 days straight now,

I'm having problems sleeping, my BP has been bouncing up and down (mostly

UP, especially every time the phone rings). At least I avoided those donuts

(So far).

I was hoping things would be better today, that my appetite would return,

but the weather is cool and rainy, I still have that darn headache, I still

didn't sleep well, and my stepmom called me after the hospice nurse left to

give me a slew of details that I really didn't want to hear but needed to. I

don't think I'll be sleeping much for the next few months.

> New day, new week! I'm hanging in there.

I am too, but it's by the skin of my teeth.

-Sue: i'm sorry about your dad. My mother's experience in hospice at

the end of her life was peaceful and pain free. I wish the same for

your dad. but no matter what, it's sad, especially from a

distance.Take care.

Congratulations Everybody! We're losing so much weight. After we're

all done, KT needs to throw us a big party where everybody brings their

before and after pics. An hcg reunion, lol. Great idea, Deb, about

the 45 day getaway. Somebody with some money could make an hcg diet

spa/resort with all the amenities. That would be so much fun and a lot

easier. Good luck everyone and keep getting thinner!
