Guest guest Posted January 25, 2009 Report Share Posted January 25, 2009 Hi everyone, I'm so glad to have found an HCG support site. Hope any of you can help me out with a question I have... OK I started the HCG protocol - strict, Dr. Simeons-style - this past January 14. 14th and 15th were load days, VLCD diet began the 16th. I loaded like CRAZY; I took in about 200+ fat grams per day, I was so afraid of getting hungry so I probably went overboard but I can say that for the first 5 days I had virtually no hunger. And the little hunger I did have was easily manageable. Now I am on Day 10 of the VLCD and ready to eat dirt, if it was possible, because of how hungry I get. Not just 'emotional' hunger - I'm talking, my whole body feels like rubber, I get lightheaded standing up and I feel NOTHING like I did when I first started... it's getting so discouraging because I was doing so well and so close to my goal... I am a 5 foot 7 inch female and started the protocol at 142.2lbs; my highest weight after Load Day #2 was 145.4, and as of this morning I am at 131.2 lbs. I wanted to hit 125 lbs on this but I am praying this hunger goes away... Anyone else experience hunger LATER in the protocol?? If so please advise, I'll listen to anything!! PS: I was actually so hungry and so dizzy yesterday I had an EXTRA 150g of beef, 7 Grissini breadsticks plus an extra fruit - and I still lost .8 lbs by this morning - which is good but I dont' want to make a habit of cheating!
