Hi Kari & anyone else interested in doing some reading. I found one of the

posts I had saved in my files concerning HCG/Cancer, etc. This was posted on

another group I'm a member of by one of the moderators there who has a *ton*

of experience and knowledge about the HCG protocol. She's even written a

book to help guide people doing the protocol, www.HCGDietMadeSimple.com

Her name is CC. She's great and I've learned so much from her over the last

year or so. She posted this info so others could read it and I know she

wouldn't mind my sharing it here.

I do have a couple other articles but can't find them yet. But this should

help put some concerns to rest.

Take care Kari~

HCG is a cancer *marker* for gestational trophoblastic tumors and some germ

cell cancers, and for males, who would not normally have HCG in any amount,

because HCG is secreted by some of those cancer tumors. However, that does

NOT mean that having HCG in your system is a bad thing, or all pregnant

women would be afraid that their pregnancy would give them cancer. Can you

imagine?

The truth is that HCG is also used to TREAT cancer:

Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) induction of apoptosis in breast cancer.

Definition of Apoptosis: A form of cell death in which a programmed sequence

of events leads to the elimination of cells without releasing harmful

substances into the surrounding area. http://tinyurl.com/cancerstudy2

Scientists at the Massey Cancer Center at Virginia Commonwealth University

have validated prior laboratory research showing the efficacy of human

chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in treating cancer. Using prostate cancer cell

lines, hCG was shown to radio sensitize cancer cells as well as facilitate

apoptosis, or normal cell death. http://tinyurl.com/cancerstudy3

Prior work by Milkhaus Laboratory yielded similar results for breast cancer

cell lines. http://tinyurl.com/cancerstudy4

Doctor Appointment today

So I hadnt seen my internal medicine doctor(primary care) for a year,

basically been avoiding going in for anything, she wanted me to have

weight loss surgery. I had been going to urgent care for problems that

popped up. But I needed an annual and wanted to talk to her about what I

was doing.

What a great visit!! I had taken a bunch of tests before the visit and

we went over the results first. Most everything is good except pretty

low on Potaccium.

The she said we need to talk about diet again, and I said " I know I'm

already on one, and I'm not sure your going to like it, but I did six

months of research and this is what I am doing. I hope you will support

me. " I told her I was doing HCG 125ml daily injections, with 500cal

diet in 5 phases. I asked if she had heard about it and she said yes she

had supported 2 other patients through it. She didn't like it but would

support me. I asked why she did not like it. She said because a

possible side effect is that it stimulates inactive cancer cells to

grow. She said that this side effect was found in the testing for use as

a fertility drug in those doses, but it still is a possible side effect

even at the low dose that the diet is. She want to me to be clear of

the risks.

For me as I see it and as I weigh all the risks for my choices, they go

like this: Stay my weight 335 or get bigger, and die from stroke, heart

attack, or cancer at any point in future ; have weight loss surgery, 1%

chance of possibly dying on the table or from complications; Take HCG

have a .5% chance of getting cancer. After weighing my risks I will

take the HCG.

My doctor said that she would give me a year to see how I did and if

there is not signifigant progress from today she would start talking

surgery again. She also said that every 2 months she will give me every

screening test she can for cancer, I have alot of it in my family and

this makes her nervous.

I feel very good about how things went, and got rid of the ambivolence I

had to see her. I have a clear picture of the future and know that she

will support me. She also is sending me to ortho to get a cortazone shot

in my knee so I can walk without my cane and be able to do more

activity. She is recommending Tai-chi video's for streching and core

strength, and swimming till I can walk better. Keep playing Wii with my

kids.
