I am not talking carmelizing the onions, just cooking them, sauteing them until transluscent. Any thoughts? Does cooking release any more sugar into the body when cooking apples with cinnamon or cooking onions with water? I just want to make sure that I am not sabotaging my efforts by cooking my foods the wrong way but can't find anything in the protocol that states the way things should be cooked (or should NOT be cooked).
