Guest guest
I just did the first weeks challenge! I took me a half hour to complete and I'm red faced and sweating YAY!! Week 1 Challenge Game: Wii Sports Sport: Training mode, on the screen where you chose the sport you want to do there is a dumb bell on the bottom right that is training mode. What to do: When you get to training mode you will see a grid of 3 rows of sports. We are just doing row 1 this week. Start on the left with Tennis. Play this training sesson 3 times but you must get a score over 10 each time. It took me six games to do this challenge. Write your scores down, I got 21,22,20 for a total tennis score of 63 today Next is Baseball, you must get 3 scores anything 1 and over counts. I got 2,2,1 for a baseball total of 5 Next is Bowling, again 3 scores anything over 5 counts. I got 13,11,11, for a total of 35 Next is Golf again 3 scores anything 1 and over counts. I got 1,5,4 for a total of 10. And last for the sweat is boxing. 3 scores and anything 2 and over counts. I got 13,7,7 for a total of 27 Tennis= 63 Baseball= 05 Bowling= 35 Golf= 10 Boxing= 27 Today's Total 140 !!! Not bad for a couch potato with a bad knee! OK Your Turn............ Let's see those scores every day this week! Kari
Guest guest
oh Yeh, remember the object is to mooooove, so really swing those arms, use good tennis form, move those feet, look totally silly and not care. In boxing, the trick to hit the bag, is to have the controller light on the end, be pointing at the receiver. So with each punch you have to flick your wrist down so it points directly at receiver bar. Practice that motion it is not a natural hand position for boxing. Also if you only do jabs it takes a long time to kill the bag, do 2-3 jabs with your off hand and then a round house with your strong hand. You can get a higher score that way. Remember you can lean and hit too if bag is moving. Hope that helps. > > I just did the first weeks challenge! Guest guest
Hi Kari~ Wow sounds like a workout! We have *Wii Sports resort* and *Wii Play* and both of those have games like that. But I'm going to have to wait for P3 & P4 to begin this contest. Sounds much too strenuous for P2 and that can hamper weight losses during the diet phase. Good luck to those of you that participate. will love to see the results. Terri Randall Creature Comforts Sheridan, WY. www.GotPaws.net APS List Owner Wii Challenge WEEK 1!! Guest guest
Kari,If my life doesn't get in the way as it has the past few days....I will join you tomorrow for the challenge. I have elected to postpone my "diet" until after the New Year, and after my birthday. There will be far fewer temptations and hopefully during that time I will stock the freezer with easy meals for the family that I won't have to be tortured by. Then when I am finished with P2, I will rejoin and see where we go from there. Just reading your instructions sounds daunting, but hopefully once I get started, it won't seem so anymore.
