Guest guest
I have been learning how to sew. I have run across a few people with disabilities that have had a hard time sewing because of disabilities. So I have done a lil research on sewing machines for special needs. I have read that the Brother PC-6000 sewing machine can be worked by hand controls. I also read that a new machine called the Shad is run by remote control. My hands do get tired so to help myself out I bought a cutting tool that rolls so I don't have to use scissors. Does anyone else have any adaptions or tricks they use for hobbies that can be interrupted by CMT?
Guest guest
, You are way ahead of me on sewing. lol, can only sew simple stuff, by hand, like do hems and stuff. For matting my paintings, I have a rolling knife attached to my big table. I still use my exacto knife for some things to cut, I just have wrapped it with tape for good measure so I can be precise and not cut something I don't want. As for tricks and stuff, well, I keep scizzors in all rooms in my house, along with colored pencils, paper and glasses in case I get ideas, or need to move projects around. Interesting topic. ~ G
