Guest guest
Hi thanks for the quick response......Maybe someone will contact me, instead of me calling first. I can check with my neurologist, but I am sure he will be reluctant to give me pers. phone numbers I think setting up a group would be great, meeting once a month when possible or just via e-mail......... When did you live in Arizona, and yes after 32 years it is too busy, too many folks and raising our cost of living yearly. The desert has almost disappeared. Good thing we maintained state property for our critters. Joyce
Guest guest
Hi Joyce, I do know a CMT Dr. in Tucson (meaning he is a doctor and has CMT - think he's in Internal Medicine) - anyway I could introduce you and see if maybe he knows any persons with CMT in Phoenix/sdale. I know there are other CMT persons in Arizona as well - at one time on this list; maybe still are??? I lived in Tempe for my first year of grad school - second year I lived in Mesa (1974-76); then after a job ended in North Texas, moved back to Phoenix to live 1979-1981. (lived somewhere around 24th Street and Camelback, I THINK! (lol) Have forgotten where. The dry desert air was wonderful for me, CMT AND allergy wise. Not to mention swimming and having a year 'round tan! Perhaps if you made a few flyers about a new CMT support group and gave them to your doc, he could give them to others and not have to give personal numbers? Let me think on this support group and see if I can be of more help in some way. ~ Gretchen
