Working with the band

Yea, team. What is all this lately on this board. Holiday Stress??!! My

band is doing great, but to me awareness 24/7 is the key. I had a great

tummy tuck, but that sent my body into another crisis - especially trying to

discern my center of gravity during exercise. I'm getting my strength back

and am now going to the next stage of adjusting to my band, new eating

habits, and more weight loss very slowly. To me it has been well worth the

effort, emotional adjustments, expense, etc. I've had more than my share of

complications and set backs. But you keep moving forward. It is a far better

life now than the future I had before the band.

Stay positive, work hard, and reach out for help when needed.

Well, universal means everywhere, and it isn't universal. Tell me a

doctor who uses the term. They may know it, but they don't say it.

They know lots of words for " stool " (meaning what comes out of your

anus), but they won't use them, at least with patients.

No one is telling you what you can and can't say. We're simply

striving for using the correct terms.

As the owner of this group I read ALL of the posts.

And for one who is into using proper terms and not being nasty, you

need to clean it up in the above sentence.

There are two meanings of " twat " , both listed below.

fathead: a man who is a stupid incompetent fool

May be what " twat " means to you, but over here it means:

cunt: obscene terms for female genitals

In fact, to most women I know, even if they will say " the F word " ,

they won't even think of using " the C word " , so clean it up.
