Wednesday morning I put on a pair of trousers that I got after losing the

initial 11 kgs and dh said: wear a belt! Those are going to fall off! I noticed

that everything is loose lately and so I decided it was time for some new

clothes. I cleaned out my closet and took out all of my size 20, 18 and 16

(British sizes which are 18, 16 and 14 American). The summer sales are on, so I

went out and bought some low rise jeans, a pair of black trousers and some new

exercise pants - all size 14 British (12 American). I couldn't believe they fit!

They look like normal sized pants, not like these huge things that fall off the

hangers.... I wore the black pants Thurs evening, and saw some people who I

hadn't seen for several months. They commented on how much weight I've lost. It

really made me feel great. I have much more energy, I feel more motivated and

more self confident...... I've even applied for a new job! The band has changed

my life for the better. I don't know where I'd be without it.

Congratulations!

Shopping has been my main reward and enjoyment since loosing 50 pounds. I love

to buy things that make me look and feel like a normal person, not a fat person

trying to look acceptable! And I am only down to a size 24 American!!

I ALSO found out that (at least at the local 's) they do in-store models 4X's a year. It's one Saturday, 4Xs a year from 11am - 3pm. The "pay" is an additional 25% off your purchase. The next modeling date is in September, and by then I should probably be due for more clothes as I'll need winter clothes tht fit.

Great news about the shopping Sula. So am I understanding this in-store modeling thing corrctly: You "give" them 4 hrs of your day, in store modeling certain outfits and you get 25% off your purchase? WOW, that is cool! Hmmmmmmm.... did you sign up or how do you get selected to do it?

*going to see if there is a 's locally ;-)See what's free at AOL.com.

Yep, pretty much! I thought a lady was joking when she first told me that she

was in-store

modeling today. But then someone ELSE told me the same thing, so I asked. They

just have

a list of names and call folks who have " volunteered. "

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming - Wow! What a ride!~ Unknown
