Yes, , I have breast cancer. I have decided to postpone surgery to give the nutritional stuff I'm doing time to work. I am not seeing a doctor to help with this yet, though my surgeon did recommend a homeopathic MD. One problem is that she is not on my insurance, so it means starting over again with deductibles, total out-of-pocket expenses, etc. And since it's so close to the end of the year, I have to start all over again in 3 months!

I am very excited about the possibilities of what Iodine can do for me. One of my tumors is 10 cm, so I hope to see BIG results! My surgeon is not pleased that I am postponing surgery, and she has asked to see me in a month. I have already seen some results from the other things I am doing but not really an actual reduction in tumor size. I realize that tumor size is not necessarily an indicator that there is less cancer, but still it's something that can be easily measured. I really need the Iodoral to reduce the tumor in this month or I'm going to be under a lot of pressure to move ahead with surgery.

On another list they have been discussing that antioxidants interfere with the flax oil/cottage cheese protocol of Dr. Budwig. I was doing two smoothies a day to work in some of my nutritional stuff, and it included flax oil and flax seed, so I decided to throw in the cottage cheese. I'm not really sure if it's going to have the effect that the Budwig diet is intended to have, but now I learn that Iodine is a big antioxidant. So I'm really not sure what to do. But I know that I have to do the Iodine no matter what. Yeah, it would be really nice to have a doctor to guide me through this. I need one that will support my decision to wait on the surgery so that I won't feel pressured.

Do you think that Dr. Brownstein has any doctor friends in Kansas City?
