Guest guest
Dan, I learned early on to keep my " keyboard quiet " about my weighing habits. (similar to keeping one's " mouth shut. " ) This is the first time I have heard a long time bandster admit that they weigh daily. I also weigh daily, naked, after my first trip to the restroom, around 5AM. I also keep a chart/graph with a bit of detail on vacations and major activities that might have an effect on weightloss. (conventions I attend, trips, etc.) I keep two charts, a daily and a weekly. The trends over the last 14 months are very interesting. Weigh daily actually keeps me from freaking out over 2-3 pounds up on a given day. In the beginning I weighed just once a week, and freaked out at an 11 pound gain one week. When I weigh daily I can analyze water intake, exercise, eating out, and food choices, and then adjust accordingly, so as not to have some catasrophic weight change in a week. For women we can also see a noticeable pattern around our TOM. Dan, thanks for your true confession. I'm glad to hear others are there with me, and I don't have to be a closet weigher anymore! banded 7/21/06 367/265.5/150ish > I weigh once a day, 500am, get up, pee, get naked if not already, and > weigh. BUT....I also graph it so that I see the longer term trends > and don't get excited if up two pounds today, because I could be down > three tomorrow. Or vice versa. > > -- > Best regards, > Dan >
