I recommend that people watch trail mixes VERY carefully. Some have a

LOT of salt in them. We very carefully avoid salt. We don't have

high BP, but also don't want it. Plus it makes us retain water. Some

trail mixes are also VERY high calorie, particularly those that are

full of chocolate, nuts, and fruit.

Of course if you're someone who doesn't " graze " or " get hooked " on

trail mix and such, that's great. But for me they're a " trigger

food " , so I tend to avoid them.
