Yesterday my doctor refused to give me a referral

to an endocrinologist. I have found one about 40

minutes from me that comes highly reccommended and when I

called for my referral my doctor herself called me back.

She told me that I am not giving her a chance to get

things regulated and that it takes time to get my

medications and levels adjusted. She also stressed that I

don't have severe hypothyroidism because of what my TSH

is. She is a firm believer in the accuracy of the

blood test. Mainly I guess she thinks I should be

feeling so bad. My level was 8.2 in August, 4.96 in

September and is now 10.4. When I asked her why my level

had increased so since September she had no real

answer for me.

I can't afford to go to any doctor

without the help of my insurance so I guess I'll have to

wait and see.

Hope everyone is

well.

Tyra
