Guest guest
Ok, Just wondering if anyone experiences this. I have lost 45 lbs since banding 4/5. I have a few family members and friends who remark about how I look and that they see a big difference. Yet there are so many others that never say a word. I catch them " sneaking a peek " very often while I'm not looking, though. I haven't had my measurments redone so I can't tell you how many inches it has been. I do intend to go back to the nutritionist to get the #'s, but haven't had time. I'm only one size down, but feel a lot better and I do see a difference myself, but I think it is a small one and I'm very critical of myself. I just have these days when I think that if it were that noticeable, people would at least say, " You look like you are losing. " Mind you that I haven't kept my surgery a secret. I know that the last thing I should be looking for are comments from others and in reality I really don't care what they think...I just want them to let me know if they notice, it would be encouraging. I usually just chalk it up to the fact that I have so much to lose and that I've hidden my weight really well....smile. All of you successful losers here have experienced the joy of having people respond to your loss. Did it only begin at around a 50 lb loss for those near 300?
