Guest guest
Dear Tina, I went to Dr. Rumbaut through Dr.Fox's office. It was a great experience. The hospital was super nice better than here in the u.s. I'm a nurse so I know about the little things others might not notice. I was in the hospital less than 24 hours. Good luck. Guest guest
There is a doctor in Spokane/CdA that does bands. He does the surgery at Deaconess in Spokane, I believe. Whether he'll do followup on a foreign surgeon is another question. There are certainly fills available in Seattle area, as well as Portland and Bend and Puyallup. There may be an interventional radiologist in Spokane who will do fills if you look around. But check the Inamed website and they'll give you info on the band docs there. If you can't find it, contact me off list and I'll try to dig it off of my hard drive. dan Tuesday, March 9, 2004, 11:12:21 AM, you wrote: J> Hi, My name is Tina my husbands name is on the front. Guest guest
Tina: I went to Dr. Rumbaut March 19, 2002. He is a wonderful doctor and I would go to him again. I get my fills in Tacoma, I haven't had a fill for a year though. I have never had any trouble with my band. My husband got banded the same day by Dr. Rumbaut and he felt like he was having a problem. He called, sent x-rays and Dr. R called back and felt that he should kept his fill out for a while and would be fine. He would have done any adjustments if there had been slippage or for some reason if Tom needed a new band it would have been covered and we would have only had to pay for the hospital charges. We have both lost 100 lbs. Our lives have changes dramatically. I have gone from a size 18-20 to a six (I am 5'9 " ), we hike, jog, scuba dive, ride motorcycles, there isn't anything that hasn't gotten better :-) we are both 55 years old. Tom is 6'5 " and has gone from 54 " pants to 40 " . Our grandkids can't keep up with us! I know there are several reasons to get banded here, but this is just what was our experience. Jan H. Dr. Rumbaut 3-19-2002 240-140-140 Did you go to Dr. Rumbaut? Hi, My name is Tina my husbands name is on the front. (don't know how to get it off) I'm thinking about going to Dr. Rumbaut in Mexico. I wanted to know if anyone has gone to him. Did you like him? Where are you getting your after care and fills? I live close to Spokane Wa. I can't find anyone around that has a band. If you know of a Dr. close that does the after care and is good I would appreciate it. Thanks, Tina
