4th Annual Bandster Picnic - 2 Months to GO

Just a reminder that the 4th annual Bandster picnic is coming up on

Saturday, August 12th. We will start the festivities at 11am and go

till about 6pm. This is a purely social event and families are

welcome. We have had some people brings their dogs in the past and

I'm going to ask that you not bring your pets this year. They can

get pretty territorial when they are out in the yard together and I

just don't want any of the animals or people to get hurt. Pluse,

it's pretty hard on our animals when there are several other animals

in their space.

We will provide the bottled water, plates, napkins and silverware.

We have our gas BBQ ready in case anyone wants to grill something.

Food in a crock pot works and things can be heated up in the oven if

need be. Bring a " band friendly " food dish, lawn chairs or blankets

to sit on, something non-alcoholic besides water if you want

something else to drink, your " before clothes " if you want to be in

the fashion show.

We will have the " clothing exchange from hell " again. Please mark

what size the clothes are so we can get them hung in the right

spots. Be prepared to take lots of clothes home with you too. Get

some that fit now and some that will fit further down the line. What

is left will go to a woman's shelter.

This is a great gathering that gets bigger every year. We will take

a role call and add up all the #s lost - it is amazing the numbers we

come up with.
