Guest guest
Hi all, A work colleague has got me interested in reading the lables on the stuff I buy. It started off with meat content and trans-fats and now I look at all lables. Because of my migraine I have never been able to buy anything that is perfumed but now I am trying to buy products that contain no sodium laureth sulfate, parabens, formaldehyde as well as perfume and soap. I try to buy 'organic' products when I can (and can afford) and I drink bottled water and because I don't want to take in so much fluoride. I also use toothpaste which has no fluoride. I wonder how many toxic chemicals an individual ingests in their lifetime? And I wonder how much stays in the body......all people suffering from any form of thyroid problems should be tested as a matter of course. All this label reading makes me take ages to do my shopping and because I need glasses to read I have to take a magnifying glass to see the stupidly small print on stuff.
